“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” Hebrews 12:1

There is a race set before every child of God, and he or she is expected to win this race. The race is against time and the wicked one, who wants us to lose our Inheritance and be denied Everlasting life. The race may not be the same for everybody, but the expectation is of overcoming the traps that the devil has laid out against us. What must we do then? The opening scripture gives us a clue to the answer: We should lay aside every compromise, and the sin which so easily destroys our chance, and run with diligence and purpose. Our lives depend upon it. The compromise and Sin in our lives may be laziness, pornography, overeating, ignorance, weakness, blindness, failing to study the Bible frequently, etc. The sin that easily besets us might be telling lies, stealing, gossiping, fornication, adultery, drunkenness, etc. All lusts of the flesh. (Galatians 5:19-21).
Remember … Complacency kills !!

It is our duty to identify that sin in our lives; (2 Corinthians 13:5) they may not be the same for everyone since we all have different temperaments and weaknesses. Once we have identified these, ask for the Lord’s Mercy and Strength to overcome what could destroy you, and run with a profound determination, and hope it is not too late. Praise the Lord!

Dear beloved, have you identified the sin that easily besets you? What must you do to overcome this? It says in John 15:5 “I am the Vine, you are the branches: he that abides in ME, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit, FOR WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING !!!”

Our only hope is JESUS ! those who bypass JESUS and go to GOD have missed what is written and that which must be followed.. John 14:6. JESUS SPEAKING !! I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO ONE COMES TO GOD, B U T B Y M E !! “

So Saith the LORD !! Today is first day of the rest of your life, do something for yourself and your Salvation. We all must participate in our own Rescue !!
