Organized Religion versus the “Real Church” – Ekklesia

Dr. Victor Choudhrie (F.I.C.S., F.A.C.S., F.R.C.S., F.R.C.S.E., F.C.A.M.S.) Victor Choudhrie has been a cancer surgeon. He studied medicine at Christian Medical College in Vellore. After his marriage to Bindu, he went abroad for further training in surgery and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of UK, the American and International Colleges of Surgeons. He returned to India after 8 years in the UK, and served for 18 years in a rural mission hospital in the small, tribal village Padhar, of Betul district (M.P.). Later he was invited to serve as Director (CEO) of the prestigious Christian Medical College, in Ludhiana, Punjab. In 1992, he and his wife began a full time church planting ministry. The Lord is blessing this ministry and already a megashift is taking place from the traditional church to the house church movement throughout India and the world. Jesus mandated His church to go and make disciples of all nations, baptize and equip them to go the ends of the earth as His witnesses. The apostate institutional church disobeyed, built extra-biblical structures, persecuted and murdered her own people by the millions. However, the true church survived throughout the ages as a remanent in secret little house churches. The purpose of writing this book is to start a critical dialogue for a “radical restructuring of the church”, to remove the stranglehold of extra-biblical structures and to restore the original New Testament model, that merges with the culture of the people and resonates with the will of God. Although the book is written in the context of the Indian subcontinent, the basic church planting principles are applicable universally.

Let me know if I can reprint this seeing I am listing who it is with His Bio

before you add to the Website. Once I get the go ahead, I will have to change a few things before being able to post it.

Ekklesia is Greek for The True Church – Us, the True Believers, not the Building.
