The “Inerrancy” of the WORD of GOD . . . .”lack of error; infallibility”. It’s not the WORD of GOD that causes confusion, but the Translation(s) through the Millenia that are at issue !!
The doctrine of “Biblical Inerrancy” is an extremely important one because the Truth does matter. This issue reflects on the character of GOD and is foundational to our understanding of everything the HOLY BIBLE teaches. Here are 6 reasons why we should absolutely believe in biblical inerrancy: But, If you do not understand that many have, through the ages, corrupted translations to cause confusion. So, how do we get past this “Stumblingblock” ?
One has to know what is involved. Only those who have humbled themselves before the KING of kings, The LORD of lords (JESUS CHRIST) and have fully submitted to the Commandments, Statutes, Testimonies and Judgements of the LORD thy GOD, with the Scripture to confirm being (Deuteronomy 7:11) have a chance of being able to see through the smoke and mirrors. But it is not us who are able to push through, it is “only” by the Anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT !! (1 John 2:27). If you read (John 14:26) you will see that there is a process ! People believe because they go to “church”, 1st error . . . (WE are the “church”), that they have the HOLY SPIRIT … , Have you been “Born Again” ?´(John 3:3), which is the 1st step of Obedience. In (John 3:5) the WORD tells us, without the HOLY SPIRIT, you can not “ENTER” the Kingdom of heaven….. Connect the Dots !! So, receiving the HOLY SPIRIT happens because we say so…NOT ! ONLY JESUS through GOD the FATHER can give us the HOLY SPIRIT (John 14:15-17)
- The HOLY BIBLE is perfect. “And the Words of the LORD JESUS are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times” (Psalms 12:6). “The Law of the LORD is perfect” (Psalms 19:7). “Every word of GOD is pure” (Proverbs 30:5 KJV). These claims of purity and perfection are ABSOLUTE (free from imperfection; complete; perfect.) statements. Note that it doesn’t say GOD’s Word is “mostly” pure or Scripture is “nearly” perfect. The HOLY BIBLE Establishes complete perfection, leaving no room for “partial perfection” theories. In (Matthew 4:4), so saith the LORD..”But HE answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD” – The HOLY BIBLE !
- The HOLY BIBLE stands as an Absolute. If a major newspaper were routinely discovered to contain errors, it would be quickly discredited. It would make no difference to say, “All the errors are confined to page three.” For a paper to be reliable in any of its parts, it must be factual throughout. In the same way, if the HOLY BIBLE were inaccurate when it speaks of geology, why should its theology be trusted? It is either a trustworthy document, or it is not. But that is not for man to decide. The debates are useless, arguing about translations and errors in opinions not based on the Infilling of the HOLY SPIRIT ! In the Book of (1 John 2:27), So saith the LORD our GOD “ But that anointing which you received of HIM, dwells in you: and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and it is true and is not lying, and as it taught you, you shall abide in HIM.
- The Bible is a reflection of its Author. All books are. The HOLY BIBLE was written by GOD Himself as HE worked through Blessed and Obedient human authors, Prophets, Apostles and anyone else that the SPIRIT of GOD touched in a process called “inspiration.” (2 Timothy 3:16) “ All HOLY Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. See also 2 Peter 1:21 and Jeremiah 1:12.
We know that the GOD who created the universe is more than capable of writing a Book. And the GOD who is perfect, is unquestionable in the writing of a perfect book. The issue is not simply “Does the Bible have a mistake?” but “Can GOD make a mistake?” NOT POSSIBLE, EVER !! If the Bible contains errors, it is not what was “Breathed”, but the Translation that came afterward. If the Bible contains misinformation, it is because it was written in or verses omitted. That is why in the Book of (Revelation 22: 18-19) “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, GOD shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, GOD shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, (Revelation 13:8), and out of the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this book” The LORD already knew that there would be those who would change or alter HIS Perfect WORD to cause confusion, contradictions or debate !!.
What Bible(s) are we referring to ? In the NIV version, at last count, over 37 Verses have been changed or removed as compared to the KJV. Is the KJV the standard to which all Bibles are held ? No! But comparing the 2, The KJV was written in 1611 compared to the NIV which was “translated” starting in 1965. The original texts were of Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic Manuscripts. There are over 450 different Bibles in the English language alone. If the Bible contains contradictions, then GOD is “Not” the author of confusion. HE warns us of that in (1 Corinthians 14:33) “For GOD is not the Author of Confusion, but of peace, as we see in all the churches of the Saints”
- The HOLY BIBLE judges us, not vice versa. “For the WORD of GOD is HOLY !!…It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). Notice the relationship between “the heart” and “the WORD.” The WORD examines; the heart is being examined. To discount parts of the WORD for any reason is to reverse this process. We become the examiners, and the WORD must submit to our “inferior insight.” Yet GOD says, “But who are you, O man, to talk back to GOD?” (Romans 9:20).
- The HOLY BIBLE’s message must be taken as a whole. It is not a mixture of doctrine that we are free to select from. Many people like the verses that say GOD loves them, but they dislike the verses that say GOD will judge sinners. But we simply cannot pick and choose what we like about the HOLY BIBLE and throw the rest away. GOD has said what HE has said, and the HOLY BIBLE presents us a full picture of who GOD is. “Your word, O LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens” (Psalms 119:89).
- The HOLY BIBLE is our “only rule” for Faith and practice. If it is not reliable, then on what do we base our beliefs? JESUS asks for our trust, and that includes trust in what HE says in HIS Word. (John 6:67-69) is a beautiful passage. JESUS had just witnessed the departure of many who had claimed to follow HIM. Then HE turns to the twelve apostles and asks, “Will you also go away?” Then Simon Peter answered HIM “MASTER, to whom shall we go?, You have the words of Eternal Life. And we believe and know that you are that CHRIST that SON of the LIVING GOD”. May we have the same TRUST in JESUS CHRIST and in HIS WORDS of LIFE. !
None of what has been presented here should be taken as a rejection of true scholarship. Biblical inerrancy (without error) does not mean that we are to stop using our minds or question what we read and don’t understand. We are commanded to study the Word (2 Timothy 2:15), and those who search it out are commended (Acts 17:11). Also, we recognize that there are difficult passages in the HOLY BIBLE, as well as sincere disagreements over interpretation. Only the Anointing (1 John 2:27) of the HOLY SPIRIT can resolve these “disagreements”. Our goal is to humbly approach Scripture, reverently and prayerfully, and when we find something we do not understand, we Call upon JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT ! (Jeremiah 33:3), (The LORD’s Phone # 😊 so saith the LORD “Call upon ME, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” . We pray harder, study more, and—if the answer still eludes us—humbly acknowledge our own limitations in the face of the perfect WORD of GOD and understand we are not where JESUS wants us to be to receive the answer ! (1 John 5:14).
Every day presents a new opportunity for us to humble ourselves before the GOD of Abraham, to Thank HIM for Life, Health and Holiness. IT IS UP TO US TO DRAW NEAR TO HIM, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.! JESUS tells us in (Matthew 7:21) “Not every one that says unto ME, LORD,LORD, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that does the will of MY FATHER IN Heaven”. Now, the question ? What “IS” the will of the Father in Heaven ?

Blessings to all in the name of JESUS 😊
