Therefore brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.”
Perseverance – continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties Abound – To be present in large numbers or great quantity, * Barren* – incapable of being productive or producing fruit.
For those who believe in the doctrine of “Eternal Security”, (Matthew 7:21-23), (2 Peter1:5-11)
are undeniable Scriptures, seeing they expose the lies in this infernal teaching !! It does this by stating a simple command that GOD asks us to carry out willingly. (Obedience – 1 Samuel 15:22).
The reverse is also true; if we fail to do what the Apostle Peter advises, then our calling and election are not sure. Beyond that, if we stumble, an entrance will not be supplied to us into the Kingdom of GOD at our day of Judgement❕
The LORD our GOD has done HIS part. HE called or elected us out of all the billions on this planet. HE forgave us, granted us the Ministry of Reconciliation through JESUS CHRIST, (2 Corinthians 5:18), Repentance (Luke 15:7), and gave us His HOLY SPIRIT (John 14:26) HE opened up the TRUTH to us (John 8:32) and revealed Himself and HIS way of life to us. He made a New Covenant with us, supplying us with spiritual gifts, love and faith. There is no end to what HE has done for us.
Nevertheless, if we do not reciprocate, the relationship HE has begun with us will fall apart. Our calling and election are not certain WITHOUT US DOING OUR PART DAILY❕
We CAN Fall Away and not make it into the KINGDOM of GOD, contrary to the lie of once saved always saved…
(Hebrews 6:4-6).
⚠️”For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the HOLY GHOST, And have tasted the good word of GOD, and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the SON of GOD afresh, and put HIM to an open shame”⚠️
What else do we need to read❓❓
Why did Peter write this to the whole church (the people, not the building) (verse 1)? He wrote it because the church at the time was experiencing various apostasies – (Abandonment of faith or an act of refusing to continue to follow, obey or to recognize the WORD of GOD) (2 Peter 2:1-3), False Teachers were bringing into the church destructive doctrines (devil) to turn the people away.
If we continue to believe we have little to nothing in the way of Accountability when it Comes to the WORD of GOD, then we render the HOLY BIBLE, the BOOK of Life, as nothing more than a collection of fables ☠️
Read Deuteronomy 7:11 !!
The biggest lies (John 8:44) that most accept are through self imposed compromise and complacency❕❕.
All that must be done is to “Be a good person”, don’t smoke or drink alcohol, of course no swearing or missing “church”, no hatred envy or jealousy, contributing to your religion of choice. Good to Go !! 👉👉NOT👈👈
If we think we can deny all that the LORD our GOD has Commanded us to do throughout all of the warnings, (Deuteronomy 6:1-2,5, 17,24-25)(Revelation 3:15-16) written within the HOLY BIBLE, and remain “Saved”??? How ??
Look what happened to king Saul for disobeying the LORD !! (1st Kings 10:9-13, 16:14) and (1st Samuel chapter15, and most notably verse 23), The GOD of Abraham took HIS SPIRIT away from King Saul, even though Saul in the beginning, was counted among the Prophets, prophesied, and spoke in tongues !! From that point on, Saul fell away, vexed by demonic spirits until the day of his early death in battle because the LORD took HIS hand off of Saul. (The Anointing) which applies to us as well.
We all have to willingly participate in our daily relationship with JESUS CHRIST, by being DOERS, not being a wallflower. It is not about us, it is all about JESUS. And until we understand that our lives belong to HIM, to do of HIS Will, we will walk in ignorance and blindness 😪.
What will our Testimony be as we stand before JESUS CHRIST on our day of Judgement? (2nd Corinthians 5:10-11)

✝️ Blessings in the name of JESUS on this 21st (7-7-7) day of February.✝️
The #7, the LORD’s number, represents HIS Perfection. More on this at a later date.
We are continuing with the fallacy of Part 2 “Once saved, always saved”. Part 1 was on February 7th.
To Continue . . . . The Holy Bible is very clear that the unrighteous (compromise, lusts of the flesh) will not inherit the kingdom of GOD (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). If someone has confessed their faith in JESUS CHRIST but then turns back to the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21), he is spiritually lost. (Hebrews 12:14) teaches that without holiness we will not see GOD. True holiness comes from JESUS, but if we forsake JESUS, we will not be holy, and if we are not holy, we will not see the FATHER. Verse 15 reads, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of GOD; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.” Clearly, the believer must remain accepting of GOD’s practical working grace or the result will be failure and defilement. This disproves the doctrine of eternal security.
⚠️ Warnings Against Backsliding ⚠️
There are a large number of scriptures in the New Testament which warn against falling away and give evidence that salvation can be lost and faith destroyed. The parable of the Sower in (Matthew 13:3-9) illustrates well the reality of people being given the hope of eternal salvation for a while but when temptation came, they gave in as they did not allow the Word of GOD to have taken a deep root. (1 Timothy 4:1) warns that some would “depart from the faith,” and (Galatians 5:1) warns us to “stand fast…and be not entangled again.” The Jews that turned back to the law after receiving salvation were “fallen from grace” (v4). In (1 Timothy 6:9-11) speaks of those who “erred from the faith.” The saints (church) are instructed in (Hebrews 3:12-14) to take heed lest they depart from GOD with an evil heart of disobedience to HIS WORD. If a believer, as a temple of the HOLY SPIRIT, defiles the temple that was once clean, GOD will destroy that temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).
GOD gave the congregations in Revelation an opportunity to repent because many of them had fallen and defiled their garments. (2 Peter 2:20-22) “For if after they have escaped the corruption of the world through the knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, they are AGAIN entangled in it and overcome, they are WORSE off at the end than they were at the beginning. For It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the HOLY COMMANDMENT delivered unto them.” This Scripture speaks without doubt of those who had been given the hope of Salvation but were entangled again and illustrates how their eternal end would be worse because they had turned away from the TRUTH (JESUS CHRIST).
👉Be Not Moved Away
There is a multitude of scriptural evidence proving that when people have accepted JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR, they still have the power (free will) to turn away from their original faith in JESUS and give up their gift of salvation. It is for this reason the apostles challenged the saints (The “church”) repeatedly that they “be not moved away from the hope of the gospel” (Colossians 1:21-23), “be ye steadfast, unmovable” (1 Corinthians 15:58), and “fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life” (1 Timothy 6:12).
The false doctrine of eternal security is in direct opposition to the truth of GOD’s Word. GOD’s power is sufficient to keep us from sinning and to enable us to live a holy life by HIS grace. Let us stay watchful, trusting not in our own merits but faithfully trusting in the power of the precious Blood of the JESUS CHRIST as we serve The GOD of Abraham in holiness. HE can and will preserve us from all evil as we allow His holiness to work in our lives if we remain “In HIM”, without compromise or complacency !
As we have written many times, numerous scriptures speak of the faithfulness of GOD and of His power to “keep you from falling” (Jude 1:24). The GOD of our Salvation seals the True Believers (2 Corinthians 1:22) and preserves and protects them from the evil of the world, but only as they maintain their faith by following JESUS. The Author and Finisher of our Faith, JESUS illustrated the relationship as a vine and branch in (John 15:1-11). If a branch does not bear fruit, it is taken away. We are instructed to “abide” in JESUS. Note: JESUS is not just a one day Sunday experience. ABIDING IN CHRIST JESUS is about a moment-by-moment dependency on HIM. It’s about clinging to the LORD our GOD with everything that we have & nurturing that personal, intimate relationship JESUS died to have with us.
If we do not abide or stay in JESUS CHRIST, we are cast forth and burned. All fruit or righteousness comes only from abiding in JESUS, for without HIM (John 15:5), we can do nothing. If a believer stops abiding in Christ JESUS, the relationship is severed, and the consequence is eternal destruction rather than eternal life. Sobering thoughts. The LORD our GOD is not a GOD of Confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33) nor compromise – lukewarm (Revelation 3:15-16).
The Holy Bible and the Scriptures prove beyond any doubt that the promise of “Once saved, Always saved”, as has been presented in Part 1 (February 7th ) and Part 2 ( February 21st) are patently FALSE, NOT TRUE, and Exist only to deceive the masses. We are here only to present the overwhelming evidence. All of humanity has been given “FREE WILL” and It is up to you to either accept or deny the Truth.
