Blessings in the name of JESUS……

In 1 Samuel 8:5, the people of Israel told Samuel the Prophet “make us a king to judge us like all the nations” Big Mistake !!

In verses 7-9 the Lord answered and told Samuel they were not rejecting him but the Lord thy GOD, that HE should not reign over them”. In verses 11-17, GOD outlined how flawed a man HE would choose to be their fleshly king to rule over them. In verse 18 (6-6-6), Samuel speaking ” And you shall cry out in that day because of your king which you shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day”

Saul became king in 1052 B.C., the day the land of Israel changed forever, 3,076 years ago. Israel was the only nation that had the Lord thy GOD as the one True KING and Ruler. Ever since, the World has walked the path of grievous error and blindness.

What Christian Nation has cried out for the Living GOD to be their KING and Ruler?. What nation upon the Earth is not corrupt? The world has continually descended into the depths of ruin since 1052 B.C.! A vacuum was created by iniquity and filled with compromise and corruption. Look at the History of the World… filled with horrors, death and destruction.

A true follower of JESUS is in this world but not of the world (John 17:14). When we read of the “world” in the New Testament, we are reading of the Greek word Cosmos, which refers to the inhabited earth, which functions apart from GOD. The evil one (satan) is the Ruler of this “Cosmos” (John 12:31, 16:11 and 1 John 5:19) which is described in the first 11 words of 2 Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds”.

As True believers, we should be set apart from this world and the lusts thereof (Galatians 5:19-21), this is the first step of living a Holy and righteous life. (1 Peter 1:16, Leviticus 20:7). We are to conform our thoughts, minds, and speech to that of JESUS CHRIST (Romans 12:1-2) (2 Corinthians 10:5). This is our commitment and daily walk. We have to understand that while being in this corrupt world, that we are not of it, which is necessary if we are to be a “light” to those who walk in Spiritual darkness.

Being a true believer means that we are to enjoy the Lord’s blessings and HIS beautiful creation but not to accept the world’s corruption nor chase after worldly pleasures, for the things of the world are no longer a part of us, for we are focused on a JESUS centered life and a Worship of our GOD, the GOD of Abraham (Matthew 6:33, John 4:23-24).

Therefore ! We have replaced the corruption of the World (demonic) system and it’s tarnished rules, with JESUS, Father GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT.

We must become this “New Creatures in CHRIST JESUS”, (2 Corinthians 5:17) ….

Nothing compares to the promise we have in JESUS !! Amen and amen.
