✝️ “To be or not to be a TRUE BELIEVER. That is the question. ✝️
(This Instruction requires looking up and reading the listed Scriptures).
Obedience to the WORD of GOD (1 Samuel 15:22) is a foundational principle in “Christianity”, yet many believers deny or struggle to line themselves up to the teachings of the HOLY BIBLE. The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible provides numerous Calls for obedience (Deuteronomy 7:11), yet history and personal experience reveal that supposed believers often fall short of GOD’S commandments. This Instruction will expose the reasons why “Christians” struggle to obey the HOLY BIBLE, shining the light on the weakness of human nature, the spiritual warfare, worldly influences, and the challenge of our faith in a downward spiraling world.
“The Sinful Nature of Man….😳”
The primary reason Christians struggle with obedience is the inherent sinful nature of mankind. The HOLY BIBLE explicitly states that man is born in sin:
“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin ⁰did my mother conceive me.” (Psalms 51:5)
From birth, humanity possesses a fallen nature inherited from Adam. The Apostle Paul describes this internal battle plainly:
“For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” (Romans 7:19)
Even those who earnestly desire to follow GOD’S commands find themselves battling against their carnal lusts (Galatians 5:19-21). The sinful nature, also referred to as the “old man,” resists the Spirit of GOD, making obedience a constant struggle: that is why JESUS wrote 2 Corinthians 5:17 !!
Also…..
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” (Galatians 5:17)
Because of this inherent weakness, “Christians” must continually pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17) for strength to walk in obedience.
“Spiritual Warfare and the Influence of satan” 😳
(actual name is found in Isaiah14:12)..
Another significant stumblingblock to obedience is the influence of satan and the forces of darkness. The HOLY BIBLE describes satan as a deceiver and adversary who seeks to lead believers to hell:
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
The devil employs various tactics to destroy obedience, including deception, temptation, and discouragement. He even tried to tempt JESUS Himself, using scripture out of context (Matthew 4:1-11). “Christians” must remain alert and grounded in the WORD of GOD to defeat the enemy’s constant war against our Souls.
“Submit yourselves therefore to GOD. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
Failure to recognize spiritual warfare often leads to compromise and disobedience.
