A Prayer for Today.

‘Heavenly Father,
How sweet it is that we can turn to You in times of need. To hold steadfast to one of Your sweetest promises (You will never leave us nor forsake us).

Being that You are our high priest, You’re able to understand our weaknesses.

We have stumbled in life – in morality, honesty, and integrity. We have done our best, only to trip and fall. Our finest efforts have left us flat on our faces.

We have broken hearts, weary spirits, and fading visions. The distance between where we are and where we want to be at times seems impossible.

Dear JESUS…
You understand, You listen, and You hear our prayers and the cries of our hearts for help.

You understand our pains, and You never shrug or scoff or dismiss our physical struggles.

What a Mighty God You are! What awesome power we have at our disposal and sometimes don’t even recognize it or utilize it.

We repent in your name LORD JESUS for all actions in words or deeds we have done that don’t represent Your will for the purpose You created us for.

Forgive us of ALL unrighteousness and transform us to ask for forgiveness
In your Name LORD Jesus,
Amen.’
